We Are Still Here — Resistance Is Our Root
In Spain they tried to take away what we were building. Our second step was meant to be another space in Madrid, but the path was shaken by wrong turns and unfinished truths. Even so, Hemp Vegan remains. Because resistance is not about avoiding setbacks, it is about standing up after them. We are here with cannabis, mushrooms, and care to keep creating something powerful, real, and free.
Our founder, Dr. Barbara Arranz, started Hemp Vegan not in a boardroom but in her own kitchen, looking for formulas that could help her son. What began as a mother’s quiet mission grew into a bold rebellion shaped by science, biomedicine and love. She spoke openly about cannabis, bottled mushrooms, and chose to lead even when it was not safe to do so.
"Our purpose is not simply to sell CBD oil or mushroom extracts. It is to inform, educate, break stigma and show how plant medicine can change lives," said Dr. Barbara Arranz, founder of Hemp Vegan.

Every oil, extract and balm we create is a statement of resistance and care. We have taken paths that cost us dearly and lived experiences that left marks, yet we stand firm because we chose to do things differently, with transparency, independence and courage. We celebrate every ingredient and we will keep doing so, no matter how many obstacles appear.
